The Bean Boy

The culprit

img_0032

Last weekend, as we were on the way home from a friend’ house, he told us that he picked up ONE green bean on the floor in his previous school (kindy) and PUT INTO HIS EAR!

Huh!!!!

Hubby and I were speechless for a while. And then told him not to do it again or put anything into his ear, eye, mouth or nose.

We then suspected that, the hard ear wax which looked like a small ball deep inside his ear was the green bean.

We always have to remove our kids’ ear wax frequently, as it can ‘accumulate’ to a lot. And I had difficulties removing the ‘ball’ of ear wax from his ear for the past 6 months. We tried using the wax solution, thinking it will soften it, but it won’t work. In fact, we thought of sending him to the ENT doc to have it removed.

We did send him to the ENT a year ago to have his ‘big’ ear wax removed.

So this time, hubby sent him to the ENT and the doc said “it should be ear wax”.

The doc laughed and said “You must be a naughty and playful boy.”

True enough, it was a green bean.

Ian: “Eh, how come it’s not green?”. He can even commented that after seeing the green turned brown bean.

When he got home, he can laughed about it and told me, “Mummy, the doc put water into my ear and it’s so noisy, and then he sucked it out!”

Hubby: “RM135 for one green bean!”

That is our son..
